CHEEKY CHARLIE (#10312)

This charming fellow stands 12 inches tall and has movable arms (but legs and mouth do not operate). What you can't see is the delicious banana that Cheeky has cleverly removed from the fruit bowl using his tail. We snapped this shot of him just as he was sitting down for a snack.

#2526 GORILLA

The gorilla is a shy and, for the most part, inoffensive vegetarian -- a far cry from the fearsome, aggressive creature depicted in films and comic books. Only when provoked or threatened does it rise to an erect position and beat its cupped hands against its chest in an attempt to intimidate intruders. Gorillas are the largest and most powerful of the apes possessing the ability to tear branches from bushes and uproot small trees. They spend their days quietly, either in a leisurely search for food, or resting in the warm sun.  This Hand Puppet is 21 inches tall and has workable arms.

GADZOOK GORILLA (#32020)

Melvin Gorilla was not too happy with the name his folks placed on him so he had it officially changed to "Gadzook" (based upon what most folks said when suddenly encountering him)! Gadzook claims to be a distant descendant of Ohmygosh, better known as the "King Kong" of movie fame. Fortunately he did not inherit his supposed relative's 50 foot stature. Our Hand Puppet Gorilla is 10 inches tall.

ORANGETHORPE ORANGUTAN (#32019)

Orangethorpe, or "Oki" for short, belongs to a species of great apes known for their intelligence, long arms and reddish-brown hair. Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, they are currently found only in rainforests on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra, and of course here in our Puppet Store. Orangutans share 97% of their DNA with humans. Orangethorpe here, being a 10 inchs tall Hand Puppet, of course does not!

MAXWELL MONKEY #LT20M

Born in the beautiful Coconut Atolls, Maxwell Monkey distinguished himself from his 17 brothers and sisters by being the least ambitious of his parent's children. Instead of doing his chores, he would climb up a tree to snooze. At age 6, he was accidentally harvested with a bunch of coconuts and was shipped to the United States where he now works as a sun-tan consultant.

MONTGOMERY MONKEY #02328

Also from the Coconut Atolls, Montgomery Monkey is the oldest of the 18 siblings in his family. As the "First Born" it was his duty to take care of the education, health and daily needs of his 17 brothers and sisters while his parents were either "very busy" or exhausted (which was 100% of the time). Montgomery is 12 inches tall and is very easy to operate by children as well as adults.

GODFREY "GO-GO" GORILLA #32003

Godfrey Gorilla here, affectionately called "Go-Go" by anyone trying to get his attention, actually got his nickname because that was all he could pronounce of his real name. Not one for complicated conversations, Go-Go lives quitely at home with his brother Gadzook (Ga-Ga), his sister Beatrice (Be-Be), and his mother Martha (Ma-Ma).
