Jolie's career choices have generally been centered around necking (her long neck, that is!). As a youngster, the Zoo where she was born would pay her 25 cents an hour to eat the wild grass that would clog the exhibit roof rain gutters. Later on she became the General Manager of a large produce company, working her way up from the entry level position of apple picker (she out-picked everyone by selecting the very best apples from the tops of the trees that no one else could reach). She is currently employed at the jewelry counter of a large San Francisco Department Store where she can wear 150 necklaces all at the same time. Jolie is 12 inches tall.

GEORGE GIRAFFE #LT20GI

Younger brother of Jolie, George also made a career of using his long neck to his great advantage. His jobs have included changing light bulbs in high-ceiling buildings, washing tall windows, painting flag poles, and his favorite... helping cats get down out of trees.

Al is always the high scorer when he plays center for the All-Africa Basketball Team. He stands head and sholders above the rest with a powerful "no-jump-dunk." This hand puppet is 11 inches tall.

Giraffes are one of the world's tallest mammals. They are well known for their long necks, long legs, and spotted patterns. Giraffes have small "horns" or knobs on top of their heads that grow to be about five inches long. These knobs are used to protect the head in fights. Male giraffes are larger than females. Males weigh between 2,400 and 3,000 pounds and stand up to 19 feet tall! Female giraffes weigh between 1,600 and 2,600 pounds and grow to be 16 feet tall. Good thing that our Giraffe Hand Puppet is only 14 inches tall.
