Fletcher and the Princess
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful Princess who was so vain that she used to spend each day gazing at her reflection in the waters of the old well. The frog that lived in the well, Prince Fletcher by name, tried to get the curse that had changed him into a frog reversed by kissing a beautiful Princess. But every time Fletcher broke the surface of the water to approach the Princess, the ripples in the water made the Princess' reflection look very ugly, so she always screamed and ran away. This situation posed a difficult problem for Fletcher which he ultimately tried to solve by diving down to the bottom of the well and retrieving some of the gold coins that had been thrown in by tourists making wishes. He then placed the coins on the edge of the well where the Princess would see them the next time she returned. When the Princess arrived, she saw the coins and bent over to pick them up, allowing Fletcher the element of surprise. He leapt from the water and planted a kiss firmly on the Princess. Several things happened simultaneously. The Princess screamed and tried to run... but the frog on her shoulder exploded into a Prince... and the full weight of a man in that position toppled them both into the well where Fletcher, unaccustomed as he was to hands instead of flippers, was unable to arrest their fall. Fletcher quickly discovered that being a Prince at the bottom of a well was not as desirable as being a Frog at the bottom of a well... especially with a screaming, choking, gargling Princess flailing all about. This would have been the sad end of the story had not the King earlier noticed his daughter's obsession with her reflection in the well and was just returning from the glassware shoppe with a new mirror for her bedroom. As he headed through the courtyard, he first saw the gold coins on the edge of the well and then heard the cries for help coming out of it. When he peered down into the well, he was so startled by seeing his daughter down there with a strange man, that he accidentally let the mirror go and it crashed down into the well. Luckily it was a cheap mirror and no one was hurt too badly. Fletcher and the Princess did marry eventually... and they lived happily ever after too... if you don't count the Princess' aversion to anything shiny... water, mirrors, glass, metal and so on. Fletcher is 12 inches tall and ready to be kissed!

Warty insists that he's a frog and not a toad and that he got his name because of a mix-up with his birth certificate at the Frog Pond Hospital. His name was supposed to be Marty but they got the M upside down. These things happen. Our Warty Mc Ribbit stands 12 inches tall and has a very expressive movable mouth.
